Winter Barrel & Pole Bending by Lewis Clark Saddle Club

The Lewis Clark Saddle Club is onto new adventures with the goal of bringing contestant friendly events to you this Winter. Throughout the summer, our board has been broadening their skillset and incorporating new ideas under the guidance and direction of  our valued clinicians, members, and participants. 

For our first Winter Barrel Series, we’re guaranteeing $500 in Added Money, posted pre-draws, and our Time Onlys will be run in 15 minute groups. We will also offer Futurity Time Onlys and Pole Bending!

We understand that Winter races can be difficult for folks that travel from outside of the valley, and will not be doing an award series this year. Instead, we are looking into ways to increase added money for our other classes as well. 

Our races will be NWBHA prime, BRN4D Co-Sanctioned to include Futurity and Derby classes, and we will offer YBC Sidepots & BRN4D IF Sidepots. If there are other incentives or classes you’d like to see offered, just let us know. 

We want to be as welcoming as possible to all levels of participants, both new to the sport and our seasoned competitors. If you have questions or would like clarification, please reach out!
